Tickets on sale from today: the race for Milano Cortina 2026 begins
Milan, 8 April 2025 – General sale of Milano Cortina 2026 tickets officially opens today, giving fans the chance to watch the thrilling events of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games (6–22 February 2026) live. Tickets for the Winter Paralympic Games (6–15 March 2026) also remain on sale.
Until 6 May the Early Bird offer is available, with reduced prices on a selection of sessions. Tickets can only be purchased through the official portal.
Over 660,000 tickets already sold in the initial phases
During the earlier sales phases, launched with the “One Year to Go” initiative, more than 660,000 tickets have already been sold. A global success: many requests came not only from Italy but also from Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
The most engaged age groups? 25 to 34 year-olds (over 30%) and 35 to 44 year-olds (around 25%), showing strong enthusiasm among a young audience.

Each user can buy up to 25 digital tickets, all issued in the holder’s name. Payment is accepted only by Visa, a long-standing partner of the Games. From December 2025 it will be possible to change the ticket holder’s name free of charge through the official app. Children up to 3 years old enter free if held in an adult’s arms.

Olympic Games: 16 days of sport across Italy
From 6 to 22 February 2026, Italy will be back at the centre of world sport, with 116 Olympic titles up for grabs.
The main venues:
- Milan: opening ceremony, ice hockey, figure skating, short track.
- Cortina: women’s alpine skiing, bobsleigh, skeleton, curling.
- Val di Fiemme: cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined.
- Anterselva: biathlon.
- Bormio: men’s alpine skiing and the debut of ski mountaineering.
- Livigno: snowboard and freestyle.
- Verona: closing ceremony.
Paralympic Games: sport and inclusion
From 6 to 15 March 2026, more than 600 Paralympic athletes will compete for 79 titles.
The venues:
- Verona: opening ceremony.
- Milan: para ice hockey.
- Cortina: alpine skiing, snowboard, wheelchair curling.
- Val di Fiemme: cross-country skiing and biathlon.
- Cortina: closing ceremony.
